It is no coincidence that our name is “Mountain View Cycles”. Mountain bikes are why we exist. Our love and passion for mountain bikes makes this a fun business to be a part of.
We break mountain bikes into a few categories. Full suspension mountain bikes have five categories of their own. We refer to the number one as the XC Racer, number two as the XC Trail, three as an all mountain, four as Freeride and a five as Downhill.
Although we don’t carry a lot of the XC Racers and Downhill bikes we have a large variety of XC Trail and All Mountain bikes to choose from. With Specialized and Trek offering some of the best in the business when it comes to XC Trail namely the famous Stumpjumper FSR and the Fuel Series from Trek we can get you to the front of your group and the envy of all your riding buddies. In the all mountain category Specialized offers the Pitch and Enduro series with Trek offering the Remedy series and Gary Fisher with his Roscoe series to handle all the trail you can throw at them. If you are wanting to launch that jump trail or maybe head up to Whistler for the weekend look no further than the SX Trail from Specialized. 29ers yeah we got that. The Specialized Stumpy 29er FSR series and the New 29ers from Gary Fisher will convert you to the “big wheel”.
Looking for something a little custom we can hook you up with and American made and bred Turner mountain bike with the patented Dave Weagle rear suspensoin. The Sultan 29er is the MTBR 29er of the year two years running and is made just down the road from us in Portland Oregon. If you are wanting something just in between the XC Trail and the All Mountian bike the Turner 5 Spot 26er is just what you are looking for with great climbing ability and rock solid descending you will struggle to get that smile off your face.
