Santa's Trek Session 8

SPOTTED: Santa's DH Sled at Syncline

Santa's got a big day coming up. Making a lap around the world in one night is a tall order. He's been out training at Syncline recently, and he took some time out to catch up with us about his new sled.

Santa runs his Trek Session 8 completely stock. This out-of-the-box ripper features a stout Rockshox Boxxer dual-crown fork. He said he's been hitting the milk and cookies a little hard this year, which is understandable, given all the global supply chain issues. (We're surprised he's not wasted on egg nog 24/7). All that to say, he's a little overweight this year. The Boxxer gives him the support he needs, and the Debonair spring gives him the higher ride height that he likes.

29" wheels, the medium length R2 wheelbase, and wire bead Bontrager G5's with tubes give him the traction and support he needs to make successful deliveries come Christmas eve.

Santa loves the new high pivot idler pulley design. The rearward axle path takes the edge off the chunky sections on Little Moab. He runs a Fox Van Coil to keep him glued to those off camber rooftops.

Santa's on the new Sram GX DH 7 speed drivetrain. No frills, no issues! Good old mechanical, cable actuated shifting. Our friends at Smith Optics take good care of Santa, so he tries to rep them when he can.

Santa's running the SRAM Code R brakes, but he's hoping for a set of RSC's or the TRP DH-R Evo's from Mrs. Claus for Christmas!

Santa's bringing us a fleet of Trek Sessions for Christmas, so we'll have plenty in stock for Whistmas next year!
