Advanced Bike Mechanic – Mountain View Cycles (Hood River, OR)

Mountain View Cycles is looking for an Advanced Bike Mechanic to join our team! This role is for an experienced tech who thrives in a fast-paced shop, delivering high-quality service and precision repairs.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and perform advanced repairs on all types of bikes, including high-end mountain, road, gravel, and e-bikes.
Meet service goals by completing repairs efficiently and accurately.
Write detailed work orders and communicate service needs to customers.
Assist with service sales and recommend appropriate maintenance or upgrades.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring tools and equipment are in top condition.
Occasionally assist on the sales floor with customer inquiries and product recommendations.

Qualifications:

3+ years of professional bike mechanic experience (or equivalent skills).
Strong knowledge of suspension service, drivetrain tuning, brake bleeds, wheel truing, and frame builds.
Experience working with electronic shifting and e-bike systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for cycling and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range: $24 - $28 per hour (based on experience)
Full-Time: 30-45 hours per week

Bike Mechanic – Mountain View Cycles (Hood River, OR)

Mountain View Cycles is looking for a Bike Mechanic to join our team! If you have some experience working on bikes and want to grow your skills in a fun, fast-paced shop, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic to mid-level bike repairs, including drivetrain adjustments, brake bleeds, wheel truing, and suspension service.
Assist with writing up work orders and providing service recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Occasionally assist on the sales floor with customer inquiries and product recommendations.

Qualifications:

Some experience as a bike mechanic (shop experience preferred).
Basic knowledge of bike components, repair techniques, and service procedures.
Passion for cycling and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range: $16 - $22 per hour (based on experience).

Responsibilities:

E-Commerce Sales: Manage and optimize our online store, process orders, update product listings, and enhance the digital shopping experience.
Media Production: Create engaging content for social media, website, and email marketing, including product highlights, promotions, and in-store events.
Sales Associate: Assist customers in-store with bike sales, accessories, and gear, while delivering top-notch customer service.
Product Photography & Descriptions: Capture high-quality images and write compelling descriptions for online product listings.
Marketing Support: Collaborate on promotional campaigns and ensure brand messaging is consistent across all platforms.

Qualifications:

Experience with e-commerce platforms (Work Stand or Shopify) and online sales strategies.
